WHAT IS OMEGA-3?

Omega-3 consists of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), which have a beneficial effect on human health. Omega-3 is a great source of fat that we can only get with food or supplements because our body does not produce these fatty acids on its own. Omega-3 is commonly found in fish oil.

WHY OMEGA-3?

Omega-3 plays an important role in ensuring healthy heart, brain and vision [1, 6, 7]. DHA is beneficial for children in the early stages because it supports normal visual development [2]. In addition, DHR is recommended for pregnant women because this substance helps to maintain the normal brain and vision development [4] of the fetus or breastfed baby [4]. 1. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. The positive effect is achieved with 250 mg daily.

2. DHA intake contributes to the normal visual development of infants up to 12 months of age. The positive effect is achieved with a daily intake of 100 mg. As DHA is part of the formula, it must be 0.3% in order to have a positive effect.

3. DHA maternal intake contributes to the normal brain development of the foetus and breastfed infants. The positive effect is achieved with 200 mg DHA, in addition to the recommended daily dose of fish oil for adults, i.e. 250 mg DHA and EPA.

Shipments
All shipments are sent from our warehouse in the Netherlands. Orders placed before 1:00 PM (provided all products are in stock) are shipped the same day.

The stated delivery time is an estimated delivery time which, under normal circumstances, is reliable. Vitanetshops.eu (Vitamin Hub B.V.) does not guarantee delivery within the estimated delivery time; delays may occur due to carrier breakdowns or routine customs inspections.

Cancellations, Returns, and Replacements
Customers can cancel an order free of charge until the order is shipped. After that, Vitamin Hub B.V. reserves the right to charge a fee of 10% or a minimum of €10. This also applies to uncollected orders, orders with incorrect addresses, refused or returned packages. If a mistake is made by either Vitanetshops.eu (Vitamin Hub B.V.) or the postal system, the fee will be waived. Customers can return unopened and originally sealed products within 30 days at their own expense.

Data collected by Vitanetshops.eu (Vitamin Hub B.V.) has been entered by you at the time of order or account creation; this data will NEVER be shared with a third-party company/person!!! We do not resell personal information and do not disclose your personal information to others. These are only recorded in our customer database. All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Etten-Leur Holland, thus within the EU and therefore there will NOT be any excess Import fees!

The final shipping prices can be seen on the checkout page where they'll show according to end destination. 

Orders placed before 13.00 will usually be shipped the same day from our warehouse in Holland, providing all goods are in stock.

We use GLS, FedEx and PostNL handed over to your National Postal carrier. You'll receive an email when your order is ready to ship, right before delivery and if it is at a pickup facility you'll also be notified about this. If you've provided us with a mobile phone number you'll also receive a text message with tracking info.

The estimated delivery time is shown at checkout and is counted from the day after carrier pickup. However, be aware that there may be delays. If you have not received your order within 10 working days please feel free to contact us.

The specified delivery time is an estimated delivery time which in normal conditions is viable. However Vitanetshop does not guarantee a delivery within the estimated delivery time, as incidents/circumstances such as carrier breakdown or prolonged stay for rutine customs inspections may occur.

Order cancellation & Returns

You can cancel an order for free until the order has been shipped. After dispatch Vitanetshop reserves the right to charge a "restocking" fee of the shipping price or if free shipping has been obtained then 10% of the total with a minimum of 8 €. This applies to orders that are unsuccessful, rejected, returned, or have a wrong address. If a mistake is made by either Vitanetshop or the post, the fee will be waived.
